Topic: The Second Bike
The Road King was a great beginning. After a 1000 solo miles miles, Donna started riding with me and the journey took a new and welcome turn. Donna loved to ride, and it was a match made in heaven. With our freinds Rick and Mary Albee we started traveling the roads.

In The Beginning
Topic: Where it Started
Few will disagree that Life is a journey. As Americans, we have been blessed, I believe, with freedoms unmatched in any other country or culture. The pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness and the motto "In God we Trust" are precepts that give us hope and guidance in what we do. From the outset of our journey, we make no greater declaration that the Lord is God and our savior. The author and finisher of our faith, our keeper and defender. The journey in life takes us down many paths. Some of those paths are planned, but for Donna and I, many more are unplanned. One such unplanned path was to be encouraged by my daughter's father-in-law to buy a new Harley motorcycle. I humored him by going to the local Harley dealership to view all that shiny paint and chrome. Soon, the temptation was too great to resist any longer and I purchased our first Harley Road King Classic on July 1, 2000. There is a saying among Harley riders - "Its the journey, not the destination". How true this has become with us as we have now enjoyed thousands of miles on the highways and byways of this great country. Limited to the western states and Canada, our desires to see more have now grown to see the beautiful Midwest, east Coast and southern states
